Here are Norm,Gary and I standing in front of Gary's Shell Lab. Gary created this lab for the curious; and the kids that visit the beach. He is a charmer with the little kids. They love him. Gary is a Wildlife Biologist who we met on El Coyote Beach 3 years ago. He lives in Madras Oregon and specializes in bird biology. What a pleasure it is to have him on the beach. He has helped us all to discover the unique characteristics of bird behavior.

Tell Garysan "the bird man" he's really missing out by not being home. The snow he loves is here and it was a balmy -2 last night. That should make him hurry home!!
