Cliff Palace in Mesa Verde. The Puebloans constructed these cliff dwelling about 1,400 years ago out of stone, mud, timber and water. They used sharpened stones for cutting and chopping; bones for digging, scraping, sewing and weaving. The group of people on the right in the picture gives a prospective of size of this particular dwelling. We walked through this ancient village to better appreciate the life of the ancient Puebloan.
