They estimate Newspaper Rock depicts 2000 years of history starting in BC and ending in approximately AD 1300.Currently we are in the Needles of Canyonlands. We will attempt Elephant Hill tomorrow since the weather has warmed up. Elephant Hill is another 4 wheel trail. Today we took a 4 wheel trip down Horse Canyon. Permit only so we had the whole place to ourselves.
