Yet Another Road Trip--What Fun

Bessie, Chris, Steve, Norm and myself finally ventured up the peninsula that protects Conception Bay from the open Sea of Cortez. We traversed the entire length of the land mass and then cut over to the East side of the peninsula. We explored the remnants of an old mine that was active in the 40's. The open sea was wonderous. Perhaps next year we can camp here.
We camped the night in a box canyon where ancient pictographs can be found.
It was pretty cool camping here. Chris and Bessie, Steve, Norm and myself pitched our tents and hunkered down for a peaceful night. A word from the wise. When camping together in a box canyon, be sure and leave plenty of distance between camp sites. Seems every noise is magnified by the walls of the canyon.
