We stopped on Friday to visit the Weir's who have a place in Jojoba Hills Escapee Park. We also decided to stay the night in the boondock area and partake in the Friday afternoon ice cream social. It was great to be able to meet up with these friends. We had not seen them in some time.

We stopped on Friday to visit the Weir's who have a place in Jojoba Hills Escapee Park. We also decided to stay the night in the boondock area and partake in the Friday afternoon ice cream social. It was great to be able to meet up with these friends. We had not seen them in some time.

Jerri & Norm, I was so excited to see you had paused at Jojoba -- because I'll be there tomorrow (Monday) and was looking forward to seeing you.......and then noticed you've already left and are actually in Bakersfield. I just came from there! Sniff! What a bummer. I have so enjoyed your blog; every one of your posts took me back to El Coyote on a magic carpet. There's a LD Caravan outing at Vail Lake 3/17 - 3/21 should you be inclined to turn around and join us?!!! Hope all is well.
