The Copper Canyon Saga

January 2nd, the big day has arrived. 

The  taxi  arrived at 6 am  on  Coyote Beach  to whisk us and our luggage off to Santa Rosilia. We are catching the morning ferry from Santa Rosilia to Guaymas Mexico. 

But wait, where is that ferry?
No one seems to know.  

We do know one thing------it is not in Santa Rosilia as scheduled. It should be sitting right there in the water behind Norm.

Change of plans, we are now going to Hermosillo. Seems the plane does not fly to Guaymas.  
But at least it will get us across the Sea of Cortez and a bit closer to the intended destination. 

We stay in Hermosillo Mexico  for the night and then take the Tufesa Bus to Los Mochis Mexico.

Although more difficult, it is possible to travel mainland Mexico with  limited language skills.
