Road trip to Magdalena attempting once again to make it to the Guadelupe ruins. Nope--the road is impassable.
Added on a quick trip for a look at Playa Santa Ines.
Tres Amegas out on the water once again to kayak.
Dolphines YET AGAIN in the bay. Almost daily they arrive in herds to feast.
Lunch stop. Between San Sabestian and San Nicolas. The road is passable but 4 wheel recommended.
We also took a day trip to the box canyon for a look at the pictographs. Sadly most of the pictographs have been worn away by wind and water.
It looks like the the rains and tropical storms this year have washed away a significant portion of the canyon floor.
We use to be able to touch this rock with our hands when we stood below.
Can you believe your eyes.
Yes, that is Norm up on the paddle board.
Tres Amigas up on our inflatable paddle boards. What fun we have had this year learning to paddle board.
Kayak Sailing.
Zooming back to shore with the wind. It would be nice if there was a clear window inserted in the beach umbrella for viewing our route of travel.
We paddled out to this swarm of feeding birds. Hundreds of them had been crash diving into the water feeding on the bait ball being herded along by dolphins.
Dolphins, Blue Footed Boobies, Frigates,Sea Gulls, Pelicans and an assortment of small gull like birds.
We were lucky enough to be out paddling when we discovered this feeding event.
