Interesting Vehicles on the Beach this Year

This is pretty cool. A young couple  are riding  from San Francisco to  to South America. Blogging their trip on the outside of their tent.

He has  modified his bike to carry  his extra packs for this lengthy travel. The bike is about shoulder height. Twice the height of a normal bike with normal size wheels.

A Young German couple own this rig. They sold their house and have traveled across Canada, through the US and are headed down to South America. They will travel for 2 years and then go back home and work a while for more traveling money.

A dutch fellow traveling with the Germans. Interesting 4x4 vehicle. These rigs are constructed to allow for travel on any surface  condition.

Another young couple from Switzerland  Pop up tent on the roof of their Land Rover. The back opens up to a full kitchen.
Another Young couple, these folks are  from Alaska. Quit working to travel for a year and a half. On the roof is another brand of pop up tent.
Again, the back door opens to a full kitchen with refrigerator and stove.

Not sure who is traveling in this rig but they are set up for what ever they encounter on their travels.

And then there are "The Pawsons". Kayaks and Turd Taxi.
We stored these items  in Mulege for the summer months. We arrived to find everything safely stowed in our rented shipping container. Off to the beach we go.

The French. Riding down to South America.
These young people know how to live life to the fullest.

The Swiss.
Lots of interesting rigs on the beach this year for the holidays. They have all left to pursue their southerly destinations.
