The San Borjitas Cave Paintings are located in Rancho San Baltazar in The Sierra of Guadalupe Baja California Sur Mexico. For more information: http://www.bajaquest.com/mulege/sanborjitas.htm

The paintings are said to have been made over 7,500 years ago. Making these the oldest paintings in the Continent.

Nick, Pam, Norm,Steve, Canada Bob and myself took a day trip to see these paintings. There is no access to these paintings without a guide. The price: 100 pesos per person.

These paintings are almost life size. The biggest I have seen to date.
In November 1994 Visited the cave. Hired a cowboy at the rancho as a guide to the cave after work at the rancho was finished (roping and dragging bush cattle into a branch corral). Road from rancho to cave trail very bad, worse than the road in from Mexico 1. Only building at trailhead was a rotting branch palapa. Only paid govt fee of $5us for register and $7us for cowboy.
