This pair of pelicans just soaking in the the sun as I paddled by. They are starting to change into their breeding colors. The head and face become quite colorful during mating season. Kind of like us humans when we decide to mate. The transformation is awesome in both species.

Chris is the only one on the beach who is happy when the wind blows. Then he can sail. He is quite good at it also.
