This little fellow came running at me causing me quite a fright while hiking. I imagine I scared him right back with my loud exclamation of fear. This is a marmot.

Kodiak bear rescued after he lost his parents. Once they are rescued, they can not be re-introduced back into the wild. Alaska law prohibits re-release of rescued bear.
