On to The Yukon

Liard Hot Springs early in the morning. It is heavenly.
Liard Hot Springs Campground. One big pool with varying levels of heat. Gravel bottom.
Anywhere a heater plug for the car is required, I don't want to live. It gets 60 below here in Whitehorse

Here is a piece of the Alaska Highway just North of Fort Nelson. Note the wide swath of clearing on either side of the Highway. This seems typical of the British Columbia portion of the Alaska Highway.


The Sign Post Forest erected in Watson Lake was started by a homesick Army GI while working on the Alaska Highway. He erected a sign pointing the way and stating the mileage to his home town.
